WHAT IS FCCLA?

FCCLA is a student leadership organization which promotes personal growth through Family and Consumer Sciences Education.

The acronym stands for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America.

Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner, and community leader, members develop skills for life through character development; creative and critical thinking; interpersonal communications; practical knowledge; and career preparation.

Members are those who have taken a FACS (Family & Consumer Sciences) course or are currently enrolled in a FACS class.

Meetings will be held during AP in Ms. Julius' room on the following dates:

9/16; 10/21; 11/18; 12/9; 1/27; 2/24; 3/24; 4/21

Monthly activities are determined through the chapter's Program of Work.
